My partner in music, Worksofintent, and I released one of the many tracks we have completed over the years! It was a long time coming after having so many greats test our tracks and carry my voice and his beats across borders.
Gotta Get That Money is from an era I reference often when writing, and my lyrics in this track are no different. Paying homage to the Ballroom community lyrically and visually was something I took great pride in doing - and having the team to support and uplift was amazing.

Far Away Remix
My remix of my original track, Far Away, from my debut ep, is available on all platforms now!
This track is special to me as it's my first remix! I wanted to do something that was lyrically minimal and truly allowed what I love most about the song to shine through, the melody. The idea of taking the chorus and simply looping it throughout the track came to me while driving and having one of the unmastered versions of the original mix on a loop. For me it was important for the vocals to simply compliment what I feel was already a beautiful piece of music. Carefully placing the chorus phrases throughout the song, I created my first remix which I hope takes you on a musical journey, as it did for me. Enjoy!

Fantasy, the debut ep combining the roots of South Africa-based producer Cravity and the complex simplicity of songwriter Gray features 4 tracks. Directions, Far Away, Our Love, and Fantasy comprise the debut ep of this multi-faceted trio. Fantasy is a journey through captivating drum beats, compelling lyrics, and perfectly harmonized vocals.

Album Synopsis
Directions
Simply put, I gave a lot of Directions in the production of this track and felt it was self-titled from its inception, which inspired the 3 variations of lyrics I wrote and recorded and decided to ultimately not use. I intended for the track which plays during the visualizer reel to be an interlude, taking inspiration from the 90's and early 2000's when these snippets played in-between full-length tracks and often left you wanting more! Ultimately, we extended the track and I choose to leave it as an instrumental!
Far Away
Ibiza being one of my favorite places at some point would inspire me lyrically. This song specifically was inspired by those magical nights on the island where the moonlight and emotions are the only thing guiding you, the sea air is calming, yet electrifying and you feel truly free. Fast forward many years later…the first time I heard, Far Apart (working title) I knew I wanted to let the instrumentals remain the focal point, as I love them. I automatically think of the water and the atmosphere when listening to the melody and I allowed that to carry me away lyrically and create an environment that is truly inspired by those summer nights and what seem to be a perfect romance. It's about the acceptance of letting go and how doing so can be the ultimate gift and expression of love for the other person but more importantly yourself. Lyrically this song was developed in 2016 and met its perfect match years later in the original melody produced solely by Cravity.
Our Love
One of my favorite tracks most days! I really enjoyed writing and creating the vocal demo for this track. I wrote it in 30 minutes after a crazy day while on holiday in South America and just tried to pour those sometimes hard to explain emotions you share with someone into the lyrics. It's about love and so I hope whenever someone listens to it, they feel that connection to this sometimes-inexplicable emotion. I created so many versions with my engineer while mixing this track and took it in so many different directions, I truly fell in love with it over and over again, and hope as a listener you do as well!
Fantasy you are all you need
I wrote this track last year and it's my love letter to anyone that is ever doubting themselves or allowing those voices and opinions of others to hinder your advancement in life. Throughout the creation of this entire project, I encountered things I never had to deal with before, specifically load shedding. The way I understand this, is the governments way in certain parts of South Africa, of directing and controlling the electrical output to a specific area and region. This delayed this track in so many ways. It was the first and only track originally until I realized time was ultimately on my side and that I was simply out of control but in control of the fact I could use what seemed like infinite time to my advantage, which is how this project became a 4-track ep. Fantasy contains a message I don't take lightly and hope comes across very clear and that's that you are all you need!
